  • Automobile Rental Reimbursement is optional coverage available on the Personal Automobile policy.

    The policy may be endorsed to provide for reimbursement to the Named Insured for the rental of a substitute auto from a car rental agency or garage. The original auto must be unusable because of a covered physical damage loss (Comprehensive or Collision) and the repairs to the original auto must exceed $250.

    This coverage provides up to a maximum of $30 per day, for a maximum period of 30 days, for the expense incurred by the Insured for the rental fee (excluding mileage charges) from a car rental agency or garage.
